As an individual with an aptitude for the subject of mathematics, I strive to find reasons behind the decreasing amount of individuals that graduate with STEM degrees (decreased from 40% to 15% in the past decade), while the controversial topic of a wage gap increases.  Despite many factors, throughout the rest of my college career and into my future career, I hope to research many of the fresh ideas that I have encountered. I aspire to publish consistent research on an annual basis.
